Privacy Policy

SafeReceipt ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What We Collect
- Receipt photos you capture with the app
- Extracted receipt data (merchant, amount, date, category, warranty info)
- Your Google account name, email address, and profile photo (used to identify your account)
- App preferences stored locally on your device
How Your Data Is Stored
All receipt data and photos are stored locally on your device. If you sign in with Google, your receipts are also backed up to a "SafeReceipt" folder in your own Google Drive account. We do not operate our own servers that store your receipt content.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each subject to their own privacy policy:
- Google Sign-In and Google Drive API — for authentication and backup (policies.google.com/privacy)
- RevenueCat — for managing in-app subscriptions (revenuecat.com/privacy)
- Google Firebase — for remote configuration (firebase.google.com/support/privacy)
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your receipt data for advertising
- We do not share your receipt photos or content with anyone
Deleting Your Data
You can delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the app. To remove your Google Drive backup, delete the "SafeReceipt" folder from your Google Drive. You can also sign out from the Account section of Settings, which removes your credentials from the app.
Children's Privacy
SafeReceipt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the effective date above.
