Terms of Service

By downloading or using SafeReceipt ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The Service

SafeReceipt is a receipt capture and backup app that stores your receipts locally on your device and optionally backs them up to your Google Drive account. We provide the app on an ongoing basis and may update features, fix bugs, or change functionality at any time.

Your Account

Google Sign-In is used for authentication and to connect to your Google Drive. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Google account. We are not liable for data loss resulting from lost Google account access.

Your Responsibilities

• Use the app only for lawful purposes
• Only capture and store receipts you are entitled to
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or distribute the app
• Do not use the app in any way that could harm our systems or other users

Subscriptions and Billing

SafeReceipt offers optional paid subscriptions (Plus and Family plans) managed through the App Store. All billing, payment processing, and refunds are handled by Apple under their standard terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

Data and Backup

Your receipts are stored on your device and, if you choose to sign in, in your own Google Drive account. You are responsible for maintaining access to your backups. We are not liable for data loss due to device failure, Google account issues, or any other cause.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including data loss or interruption of service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where we operate.
